
As part of efforts to support Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Breast Care Unit and breast cancer patients, Williemays Industries has announced that one pesewa from every bottle of Mays Crystal Water sold will be donated to the Breast Care Unit.
The initiative by the Company is intended to alleviate the financial burden of breast cancer treatment for patients.
The company, producers of Mays Crystal Purified water announced this at a short ceremony in Korle Bu to donate their products and money to the Breast Care Unit.
The company donated 100 bags of their sachet water, 30 packs of bottled water, and a cheque of GHC13,733 to assist breast cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The Managing Director, Mrs. Barbara Dedjoe, expressed hope that the new partnership would make a meaningful impact on the lives of affected patients.
Dr. Florence Dedey, a Consultant at the Breast Care Unit, who received the items with other personnel were grateful to the Company.
She was hopeful their initiative would gain public support so that patients who are unable to afford treatment will be assisted.
Dr. Dedey also expressed deep gratitude to Mrs. Dedjoe and Williemays Industries for their generous gesture.
